Beerakaya Royyalu

Ingredients:

medium size cooked or uncooked shrimp - 1 lb
medium Beerakayalu (Ridge gourd)(Indian egg plant) - 3
onion - 1 Big
green chilis - 8
cilantro(coriander leaves) - 2 tb spoons chopped
garam masala powder -1 tsp
salt - to taste
turmeric powder - 1/4th tsp
Oil - 1 tb sp

Preparation:

Take a pan and add oil, when oil heats up, add jeera and onions and green chilis. Fry onions until they are soft and add add some salt and turmeric powder.
Add shrimp to that mixture and cook for 5 mins
Mean time you can peel the bottle guard and cut into small pieces
Add bottle guard pieces in to shrimp curry and close the lid and cook for 10 mins
Check salt and add if you need more and add garam masala powder and chopped cilantro at end.

Serve with white rice , trust me its very delicious.
